Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) enables users to access Private Cloud Director using your existing enterprise single sign-on credentials. Instead of having to manage separate username and password for Private Cloud Director setup, your users authenticate through the identity provider configured by your organization.
SSO integrates seamlessly with Private Cloud Director multi-tenancy model. You can configure SSO authentication at the domain level, allowing users to access their assigned tenants and regions using their corporate identity. SSO provides centralized user management while maintaining the isolation and security boundaries of your domains and tenants.
Enterprise SSO provides several key advantages for your organization:
Simplified user management - Create and manage user accounts in your existing identity provider. User provisioning and de-provisioning happens automatically through your corporate directory.
Enhanced security - Leverage the existing security policies, including multi-factor authentication, password policies, and account lockout rules within your organization.
Improved user experience - Users access PCD with the same credentials they use for other corporate applications, eliminating the need to remember additional passwords.
Compliance and auditing - Centralize access logs and user activity through your corporate identity systems for better compliance reporting.
Supported SSO Providers
PCD supports integration with popular enterprise identity providers through industry-standard protocols.
