Router

A software defined Router that can be deployed to enable connectivity between networks. Routers enable routing of traffic between two or more networks. A Router is capable of routing traffic between networks of any type - physical or virtual.

A Gateway is a router that maps a virtual network or an internal physical network to an external physical network.
