# Node Operations

Node Operations are the operations that can be performed on the worker nodes in the Kubernetes Clusters.

<code class="expression">space.vars.product\_name</code> only supports **Delete** operation on the nodes. To delete a node go to the Capacity and Health page of your cluster and click of triple dot menu of the intended node in the Worker Nodes table. Click on Delete.

#### What happens when you delete a node ?

When a node is deleted in PCD, PCD will create a new node to replace the deleted node. The order of the new node creation and deletion of older nodes will be defined by the properties of Node Group. These properties(Max Surge/ Max Unavailable) are mentioned in the [Scale Kubernetes Clusters](https://docs.platform9.com/private-cloud-director/kubernetes-clusters/pcd-kubernetes-clusters/scale-kubernetes-clusters) page.
