Connect Private Cloud Director to enterprise backup, recovery, and operations platforms.

Private Cloud Director (PCD) exposes standard OpenStack APIs, which allow it to integrate with the enterprise backup, recovery, and operations platforms you already use. This section documents the integrations Platform9 has validated for use with PCD.

Each integration page walks through the steps to configure a PCD user with the required permissions, connect the third-party platform to your PCD environment, and verify that VM discovery and protection are working.

Backup and recovery

The following backup and recovery integrations protect VM workloads running in PCD:

Integration	Description
Rubrik Integration with PCD	Rubrik Cloud Data Management (CDM) provides agentless backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery replication for VMs in PCD.
Commvault Integration with PCD	Commvault provides agentless, snapshot-based backup and recovery for VMs in PCD, with policy-driven scheduling and granular restore.
Veeam Integration with PCD	Veeam Backup and Replication provides agentless backup, recovery, and disaster recovery for VMs in PCD through the PCD Veeam Proxy (PVP) appliance, with optional centralized management through Veeam Service Provider Console. Currently in beta.
Storware Integration with PCD	Storware Backup and Recovery provides agentless, policy-driven backup, snapshot management, and disaster recovery for VMs in PCD.
