Image metadata provides information about the image and helps with easy search of images.
Metadata for an image is stored as a set of one or more key-value pairs in PMO.
You can use metadata to specify information such as the operating system of the image, the version of the operating system, the hardware architecture that it works on, etc.
For example, if you want to specify the operating system as CentOS in the metadata for the image, you can use the following key-value pair.
