# Platform9 Components

Platform9 provides its own software component, like [Nodelet](https://platform9.com/kubernetes-docs/5.14/kubernetes/nodelet), which is installed as a service agent on each node as part of the larger Platform9 Managed Kubernetes (PMK) stack within a cluster. It is a multi-function CLI software that performs several functions on the node.
