# PMK Upcoming Releases

This page highlights the upcoming releases for Platform9 Managed Kubernetes.

## Background

PMK is Platform9's current product line for supporting Kubernetes workload. There is a new product line called [Platform9 Cloud Director](https://platform9.com/private-cloud-director/) which has a newer version to support [Kubernetes](https://app.gitbook.com/s/IYcmHH6U169jTwihxwwy/kubernetes-clusters/k8s-overview) workload and the long term plan is to migrate from PMK to PCD
