# PMK Futures

This page highlights the upcoming releases for Platform9 Managed Kubernetes.

## Background

PMK is Platform9's current product line for supporting Kubernetes workload. There is a new product line called [Platform9 Cloud Director](https://platform9.com/private-cloud-director/) which has a newer version to support [Kubernetes](https://github.com/platform9/pcd-docs-gitbook/blob/main/other-docs/pmk/5.13/application-catalog/certified-apps-overview.md) workload and the long term plan is to migrate from PMK to PCD
