# Platform9 Components

Platform9 provides its own software component, like [auto$](https://github.com/platform9/pcd-docs-gitbook/blob/main/kubernetes/nodelet/README.md), which is installed as a service agent on each node as part of the larger Platform9 Managed Kubernetes (PMK) stack within a cluster. It is a multi-function CLI software that preforms several functions on the node.
